Tripp had known Hadleigh all of her life. Tripp and Hadleigh's older brother, Will, were best friends until Will died in Afghanistan. When Hadleigh was 18-years-old, Tripp thought she was going to marry the wrong man. He stopped the wedding and carried her kicking and screaming out of the church in Mustang Creek, Wyoming. Then, he went back to his home in Los Angeles, California.
Hadleigh remained in Mustang Creek. She and her two closest friends, Bex and Melody, became successful business women. The three of them formed a marriage pact, because they didn't want to be single forever.
When Hadleigh was 28-years-old, Tripp came back to Mustang Creek and moved in with his ailing stepfather. After the wedding fiasco ten years earlier, will Hadleigh and Tripp avoid each other or get reacquainted?
