The Many Faces Of David DÍaz at the Dallas Latino Cultural Center

An award-winning illustrator, David Díaz has created work for numerous books for children including: Smoky Night by Eve Bunting, which was awarded the Caldecott Medal; The Wanderer by Sharon Creech, which received a Newberry Honor; and Me, Frida by Amy Novesky, A Pura Belpre Honor Award winner. This exhibition is geared for the whole family.

David Diaz’s art won him an award honoring Latino authors and illustrators “whose work best portrays, affirms and celebrates the Latino cultural experience in children’s books.”
