The Mansion (located at 414 Delaware Avenue) became a fixture on Delaware Avenue twelve years ago. The 1869 remodeled hotel has twenty-eight rooms and hosted 225 events last year. The historic venue is filled with black walnut woodwork and ornate architecture and is renowned for their September weddings and special events.
Sax on the roof and a chime call to dinner is only a preview of the hotel’s award-winning attention to detail. From 5-7 pm guests are welcome into the Honor Bar to mix their own cocktails and adjourn by the fireplace to wine down after a day of sightseeing.
Focusing on a garden to table approach to dining, the cuisine reflects a regional flare with farm fresh ingredients. In the summertime the hotel doors to the public to provide gelato carts and jazz on the roof.
The Mansion on Delaware Avenue proudly announces a new venture that pairs with the H.H. Richardson Hotel to offer an urban resort. More details will be revealed throughout the two-year project but the goal is to revitalize the Buffalo area.
