Karina Smirnoff has high hopes for the next season of "Dancing With The Stars," which begins March 17. An article posted on OK! magazine on Tuesday, Jan. 21, reveals that the pro dancer is hoping that she gets an actor as her next celeb partner.
While it likely won't happen, considering that his acting career is at an all-time high with the critics, Karina wants Matthew McConaughey.
"I’ve been taking a lot of acting lessons, and I think Matthew McConaughey is incredibly talented. I’m a huge fan of his acting. I have a group of actors that I literally study. I study their timing, their delivery, and Matthew is on that list," she told OK! magazine
Bradley Cooper is another person with whom she would love to work with.
“Bradley showed some moves in Silver Linings Playbook. Even if he doesn’t win an Oscar, we would love to have him. Bradley, come on out!” she added.
One person that Karina may see on the show is her ex-fiance Maksim Chmerkovskiy. While it's unclear whether he'll return as a pro dancer, a spokesperson for the show previously told "Access Hollywood" that Maksim did "a fabulous job" when he appeared as a guest judge last season and that the show "will continue working with him." Perhaps Maksim will be a fourth judge, replace one of the existing judges or be a mentor?
