Area seniors invited to participate in nature walk

WHO: Howard County area seniors Susan and Ron Polniaszek, future resident of The Lutheran Village at MILLER’S GRANT

WHAT: On Wednesday, May 28, 2014, The Lutheran Village at MILLER’S GRANT, a planned not-for-profit continuing care retirement community in Ellicott City, will join businesses and organizations nationwide to celebrate the 21st Annual National Senior Health & Fitness Day, established by Mature Market Resource Center.

For this special day, future residents of The Lutheran Village at MILLER’S GRANT have organized a nature walk around the site of the planned senior living community to correspond with this year’s theme of “Make a Move Toward Better Health!” Howard County area seniors and adult children are invited to join MILLER’S GRANT future residents Susan and Ron Polniaszek as they lead the group through the fields and trails. For the approximately two-mile walk, which will begin in the parking lot of The Lutheran Village at MILLER’S GRANT’s Welcome Center, attendees are advised to wear sturdy shoes. Concluding the walk, light refreshments will be available at The Lutheran Village at MILLER’S GRANT Welcome Center.
