"The Lost Medalion" opens in theaters March 1, 2013

The must-see movie of the year for Christian families is "The Lost Medallion: The Adventures of Billy Stone". Starring Billy Unger, Sammi Haratty, and James Hong, this faith-based, action-packed adventure film was described by Alex Kendrick as an "Indiana Jones style film for children", but the film is also designed to appeal to people of all ages.

The movie begins as Daniel Anderson, played by Alex Kendrick, delivers donated items to a foster home. The orphans at the home convince him to tell them a story through which the action adventure unfolds. In Daniel's story, two teenage friends, Billy Stone and Allie, find a long lost, highly valuable medallion which enables them to travel back in time. Through their adventures in ages past, Billy and Allie discover who they really are and what their purpose is in life. While these questions of identity and purpose may seem like key concerns for the orphan, the viewer will discover that these are fundamental questions for all mankind. The movie concludes as Daniel Anderson wraps up his story and delivers a compelling message about the matchless love of God for all people. While the movie, which was filmed in California and Thailand, will thrill the senses with its breathtaking scenery, lively dancing, and heart racing adventure, its effect on the viewer may very well be life-changing.

"You may have been a mistake to your mother, but you were not a mistake to God." - One of James Hong's lines in "The Lost Medallion"

The movie opens in theaters on Friday, March 1, 2013. Christian families are strongly encouraged to view this movie opening weekend to let the film industry know that there is a strong demand for morally clean, family-friendly movies.
