The Los Angeles Guitar Festival returns to the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center for one show only on Thursday, February 7.
The festival celebrates the incredibly diverse guitar styles of various music genres from around the globe.
Guitar master Tommy Emmanuel will be headlining the event this year with special guests and Grammy winning guitarists, Mark Hanson and Doug Smith.
Two-time Grammy nominee Tommy Emmanuel is one of the world’s most respected musicians. The legendary guitarist has a professional career that spans five decades and continues to intersect with some of the finest musicians throughout the world.
A household name in his native Australia, Tommy has garnered hundreds of thousands of loyal fans worldwide. Tommy’s unique style – he calls it simply “finger style” – is akin to playing guitar the way a pianist plays piano, using all ten fingers. Rather than using a whole band for melody, rhythm, bass, and drum parts, Tommy plays all that, and more, on one guitar. Guitar legend Chet Atkins was one of the first to inspire Emmanuel to try this “fingerpicker” style as a child. Decades later, Atkins himself became one of Emmanuel’s biggest fans.
Tickets are priced from $35 for terrace seating and $55 for orchestra seating, to $95 for a VIP ‘Meet & Greet’ with the artists.
But that’s not all! There are even more activities and entertainment happening outside the venue prior to the concert that are all free and open to the public!
There will be live outdoor entertainment, product demos and gift giveaways from sponsors Taylor Guitars, AER and Alvas Music.
So whether you’re a musician or music lover, this event is not to be missed.
The Los Angeles Guitar Festival is a guaranteed hit and always sells out, so don’t wait – purchase your tickets now!
