Mark Landis will present a program on the "Santa Fe Loop Line", February 11, 2012. This historical presentation is to be held in San Bernardino, California at 796 North D Street. Admission and parking is free to the public.
Mark will follow in his presentation of "The Loop Line" its' early days when the Line was called the "Kite Shaped Track". Marks research will satisfy the most critical of railroad enthusiasts. He knows the Line from the creation in the 1890's, to its decline and slow death, during the decades of the 2oth century.
Mark made a hobby of collecting kite shaped track items. This powerful power point presentation will delight any railroad enthusiast or collector. The height of the railway, and its' advertising took place in the Victorian Age. The advertisments reflect this era.
The presentation begins at 1:00 p.m. February 11, the second Saturday of the month.
