The Long Beach Convention Center hosts the Long Beach Comic and Horror Con the weekend before Halloween. The convention which began in 2009 was originally only billed as a comic convention, but given its last weekend of October dates they have decided to add horror to the convention. “The Horror element felt like a nice fit because of the timing of the con,” Drew Seldin, whose company Seldin Gross Public Relations handles the PR for the convention, told the Examiner. “We added panels and film screenings as the two genres come hand in hand very comfortably.”
