The Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake's Beer Tasting event features craft beers

If you enjoy craft beers and would like the opportunity to also partake of an early Spring romantic getaway then check out the Beer Tasting Event being hosted by the Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake in Geneva-on-the-Lake, Ohio on Saturday, March 22.

Beer Tasting Event Getting underway at 6 p.m., the Beer Tasting Event will feature representatives from Akron's award-winning Thirsty Dog Brewing Company who will highlight various lagers and ales and explain what gives each one its unique flavor, aroma and texture. Guests will be able to sample each craft brewed beer.

The evening begins with an hour-long tasting and educational talk followed by a four-course dinner that incorporates beer as an ingredient in each of the menu items. Included on the menu will be potato, ale & cheese bisque, petite surf-n-turf, steak marinated in beer and a creme de carmel with raspberry ale whipped cream. Selected beers will also be paired with each course from appetizer to dessert.
