The local spin on parking for Blue Sky

It's official - they've abolished the mini free parking lot sandwiched between Blue Sky trail and Soderberg trailhead.

You now need to pay the $6 at either lot or risk a ticket along the roads that do not allow parking!

So here's the scoop. Its time to pay for that annual pass. You're local, and these trails are amazing. You can still park for free at Coyote Ridge and traverse your way onto Blue Sky trail and over to Horsetooth Mountain Park, though technically you are still supposed to pay to use the trails even if you don't park.

A season pass is $65 and works at Horsetooth Mountain Park, Soderberg trailhead, Blue Sky trailhead and along the water. So make use of your pass and hang out at the mini beach! Or go for a ride then scoot over to the beach to chill out afterwards. What an awesome way to end a mountain bike day!

The season pass works for only one car, a sticker that you place on your internal windshield on the passenger side. It works at all Larimer county parks.

Enjoy the trails! And thank them for the wonderful trails that are well kept, the bathrooms, water, and beach access.
