The life that awaits you in twenty one two

C.S. Lewis on faith graciously states,

“In Christianity such faith is demanded of us; but there are situations in which we demand it of others.  There are times when we can do all that a fellow creature needs if only he will trust us.  In getting a dog out of a trap, in extracting a thorn from a child’s finger, in teaching a boy to swim or rescuing one who can’t…  To support all these incredibilia we can rely only on the other party’s confidence in us—a confidence certainly not based on demonstration, admittedly shot through with emotion, and perhaps, if we are strangers, resting on nothing but such assurance as the look of our face and the tone of our voice can supply, or even, for the dog, on our smell.  Sometimes, because of their unbelief, we can do no mighty works.  But if we succeed, we do so because they have maintained their faith in us against apparently contrary evidence.”

It’s blindly apparent that the churlish (rude) temper of the weak is made known by their clownishly insensible attitudes reviling a blithe disregard for the mother of all successes-opportunity.  Yet the presence of opportunity is visible only to the one who with brazen ferocity refuses to live like another.  Thus, the ultimate life entered and the former leaves…

…however...

...like a dog on a leash and feed daily, so too is the life of the one that boast only in the ability to feast upon the generic scrapes of a life they wished they had.

A life of the magnitude that surpasses not simply a world of luxuries, healthy, and blissful memories of precious moments demanded the attention of One that believed in humanity more than the frail hopeless fearful humanity believed in themselves.

His anomalous appearance animated eloquence divine and prowess confidence.  The brazen importunity (request) to follow a greatness that exceeded the treasures of the world became the reality, and the ones who believed in the One that believed in them experience a new life.

Recall that the life in Christ was never one for the faint in heart but for the courageous, the confident and unashamed.

Precious in His sight is the life of a child, for even a child is not afraid of the shadow of death until the one who has never allowed God to lead them through it sheepishly stands in the way of their faith with a stop sign.

The cycle repeats and humanity grows weaker, cracking, and dividing.

Dare once again in 2012 to find the faith to believe in God-Jesus, who believes in you to confidently accept a higher way of life (His life) that takes you to dimensions you could never achieve without Him.  In doing so, your experience of life on earth (as short lived as it is) will also add to the joyous occasion of celebrating often once in Heaven.

Be followers of God as dear children (Ephesians 5:1).
