"The Lego Movie" debuted at No. 1 for movies on demand from June 16 to June 22, 2014, according to Rentrak. This original 3-D computer animated story follows Emmet, an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. He is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously under-prepared. The movie's voice cast includes Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett, Nick Offerman, Alison Brie, Charlie Day, Liam Neeson and Morgan Freeman. "The Lego Movie" was highly praised by critics and was a blockbuster in cinemas.

"Non-Stop" fell from No. 1 to No. 2. Liam Neeson stars in "Non-Stop,"a suspense thriller played out at 40,000 feet in the air. During a transatlantic flight from New York City to London, U.S. Air Marshal Bill Marks (played by Neeson) receives a series of cryptic text messages demanding that he instruct the airline to transfer $150 million into an off-shore account. Until he secures the money, a passenger on his flight will be killed every 20 minutes. Also starring Julianne Moore, Michelle Dockery, Nate Parker, Anson Mount, Lupita Nyong'o and Scoot McNairy. "Non-Stop" got mixed reviews from critics and was better-than-average business in cinemas.

"Lone Survivor" held steady at No. 3. Based on a true story, "Lone Survivor" tells the incredible tale of four Navy SEALs who get trapped in the mountains of Afghanistan, leading them into an enemy ambush. The all-star cast includes Mark Wahlberg, Taylor Kitsch, Ben Foster, Emile Hirsch and Eric Bana. "Lone Survivor" got mostly positive reviews from critics and was a hit at the box office.

"Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit" dropped from No. 2 to No. 4. Based on the CIA analyst created by espionage master Tom Clancy, “Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit” is a blistering action thriller that follows Ryan (played by Chris Pine) from his quiet double life as a veteran-turned-Wall Street executive to his all-out initiation as a hunted American agent on the trail of a massive terrorist plot in Moscow. Ryan appears to be just another New York executive to his friends and loved ones, but his enlistment into the CIA secretly goes back years. Caught between his tight-lipped handler Harper (played by Kevin Costner), his in-the-dark fiancée Cathy (played by Keira Knightley) and a brilliant Russian oligarch (played by Kenneth Branagh), Jack must confront a new reality where no one can seem to be trusted, yet the fate of millions rests on his finding the truth. Most critics gave "Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit" mixed reviews, and the movie had mediocre ticket sales.

"RoboCop" fell from No. 4 to No. 5. In "RoboCop," the year is 2028, and multinational conglomerate OmniCorp is at the center of robot technology. Overseas, their drones have been used by the military for years, but have been forbidden for law enforcement in America. Now OmniCorp wants to bring their controversial technology to the home front, and they see a golden opportunity to do it. When Alex Murphy (played by Joel Kinnaman) — a loving husband, father and good cop doing his best to stem the tide of crime and corruption in Detroit — is critically injured, OmniCorp sees their chance to build a part-man, part-robot police officer. OmniCorp envisions a RoboCop in every city and even more billions for their shareholders, but they never counted on one thing: there is still a man inside the machine. This "RoboCop" remake got mixed reviews and was considered a disappointment at the box office.
