Several comparison screens have been revealed in regards to the upcoming Nintendo Wii U title, “The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker.” According to a report by All Games Beta on Jan. 24, the latest images compare the high-definition remake to the original Nintendo Gamecube version running on the Dolphin emulator for the PC. As you can probably see, Nintendo added a new lighting system in addition to the enhanced textures. “The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker” was first released for the Nintendo Gamecube on March 24, 2003. The action-adventure video game was developed by Nintendo EAD and published by Nintendo. It uses a unique cel-shaded look, which was controversial at that particular time as fans were expecting more mature graphics.
The Nintendo Wii U version of “The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker” will be released in North America sometime in late 2013.
