Nintendo's been celebrating 25 years of The Legend of Zelda all year, with events from orchaestras to a special Collector's Edition for it's upcoming title, Skyward Sword, bundling together a soundtrack and golden Wii Remote.
Today on Twitter, VIZ Media announced that they're taking part in the celebrations. Collecting their ten volumes of the Zelda graphic novels released by VIZ Kids by Akira Himekawa, the box set is currently on sale for $44.09 on Amazon. In addition to the books, it comes with an exclusive poster.
For gamers, the box set includes adaptations of
- The Ocarina of Time
- Majora's Mask
- Four Swords
- Oracle of Seasons
- Oracle of Ages
- The Minish Cap
- A Link to the Past
- Phantom Hourglass
Understandably, this set only includes the comics VIZ have published. Long-lasting fans will remember that Shotaro Ishinomori wrote and drew a comic based off Link's early adventures. Ishinomori is noted as the creator of Kamen Rider, amongst other Japanese superhero mainstays, and can be equated to Japan's Stan Lee.
