The last season for Anchor Bock Beer

Each year since 2005 Anchor Brewing beer fans have looked forward to a bottle of Anchor Bock Beer. A beer that has a perfect blend of Caramel, Chocolate and Wheat. It is usually available each January through March; however, Mark Carpenter ( A Brewmaster at Anchor Brewing) announced that this will be the last season that the brewery is making the beloved beer. He went on to say that he wants to make room for several new beers that Anchor Brewing fans can look forward to drinking soon.
Bock beers are darker and stronger than most beers that you will drink, so you need to be careful what you pair them up with. Pairing them up with a Sweet Sausage, Pulled Pork or a Creme Brulee will bring out the flavor profiles that you will want to find in a great beer, food pairing.
The fact that Anchor Brewing is retiring there Bock beer, which is a very German beer and going to a variety of other seasonal beers, not only says a lot for the future of brewing. It says how far craft beer has come and shows a very bright future for craft beer aficionados.
