It was previously announced that one of the three add-ons planned as part of The Last of Us Season Pass will be a story driven single player campaign, the first of its kind from developer Naughty Dog who has only released multiplayer driven add-ons in the past. In a post detailing the Season Pass via the official Playstation Blog on Sept 27, the developer revealed that they have now officially cast an actor who will portray an all new character within the single player campaign DLC for the post apocalyptic game.
Fans also received word on a release window for the story-based add-on which is expected to come out at some point in December or January. The new cast member for The Last of Us DLC will begin motion capture work as early as next week. It wasn’t elaborated whether this new character would be the star of the add-on, either as a new protagonist or villain, or if the character will simply be joining the ranks of existing characters.
The Last of Us is out now only on the Playstation 3.
