Bruce Straley has hinted at a potential new game. According to a report from Dual Shockers on May 4, the game director behind "The Last of Us" and "Uncharted 2: Among Thieves" stated that he saw a prototype that was sketched by a designer. He was apparently impressed by what he saw as he got goose bumps.

The aforementioned comments may have been related to an artwork created by Marek Okon, a concept artist that worked on "The Last of Us." The prototype features a grown up Ellie playing a guitar, suggesting that a sequel to the new intellectual property may be in development. In a post on his personal Facebook account, Marek Okon teased fans that his work may or may not be related to "The Last of Us 2."

Bruce Straley previously stated that his next project could either be a completely new franchise or a sequel to "The Last of Us." Based on the evidence, he and the rest of his team at Naughty Dog is opting to continue the success of the survival-horror action-adventure title. A port of the first game is being planned for a summer release on the PS4. "The Last of Us Remastered" features various gameplay and graphics enhancements along with including the post-launch DLC packs.

According to IGN, Bruce Straley is also rumored to taking over the responsibilities for the tentatively-titled "Uncharted 4" after the two initial directors decided to leave Naughty Dog. Neil Druckmann, the co-director of "The Last of Us," may have been assigned to the fourth main installment of the "Uncharted" series as well. A majority of Naughty Dog is currently working on "Uncharted 4" while a smaller team has been tasked with porting "The Last of Us " to the PS4.

Sony Computer Entertainment is speculated to be showing off the first gameplay of the potential "Uncharted" sequel at E3 2014 next month. It now appears that "The Last of Us 2" may be making some kind of possible appearance as well.
