‘The Last of Us’ release on PS4, plus ‘Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel’

The Last of Us: Remastered’ will be released on next generation console, PlayStation 4. The PlayStation blog posted an official announcement today, April 9, 2014. The post stated that the game would have new territory map packs, single play expansion and other exciting new features.

The Sony Entertainment Network website is currently rotating the official banner for the game on it’s home page and states that the game will be released on December 31, 2014. However, the PlayStation blog’s announcement states that the game will be released in the Summer of 2014.

‘The Last of Us’ is priced at $59.99 and players can pre-order the PS4 version of ‘The Last of Us: Remastered’ via or via for the release date of December 31, 2014.

In other news, gamers can expect a release for a new ‘Borderlands’. The upcoming release will act as a prequel to the sequel, ‘Borderlands 2’. ‘Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel’ will be available in the fall of 2014 on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
