The Last of Us is a compelling third person action shooter/fighting game set for release on June 14th, 2013. This game is the most anticipated summer release, and for good reason. The Last of Us brings compelling story telling and ties it together with intense, gut wrenching action that will keep you on the edge of your seat for hours on end. Set in a post-apocalyptic environment where humans are on the brink of destruction, The Last of Us sets the story of a middle aged man and his teenage female companion struggling to survive. When the world comes knocking these heroes are ready to push back with intense, yet brutal action.
Through the use of his fatherly instincts and extremely strong back, this hero can sneak around and break necks, crouch walk like a pro, and gun people down in the face from point blank range. This hero is not alone in his intense action packed adventure, the heroine of the story is more than willing to help wherever she finds possible; whether it be giving some good advice, picking up random objects and throwing them, or just simply knifing your adversary in the back, she’s more than willing to take the role of a true heroine.
The Last of Us was originally set for a May 7th release date, but was pushed back for some more polishing. This game is PS3 exclusive with no known intention of release for any other system.
