So, we may have just praised Sony on its sudden common sense increase in a quality marketing campaign with the recent live action trailer for God of War: Ascension, but there's no shame in giving them kudos for yet another smart move in advertising with the up and coming The Last of Us live action mini-series.
Released earlier today (2/8), this teaser trailer gives us a short look at what happens when Sony takes some Walking Dead inspiration and fleshes out a moderately engaging world with The Last of Us's post-apocalyptic setting, producing what promises to be a gripping and engaging horror/drama with What Remains.
Presumably taking place somewhat within the same time period as The Last of Us itself, What Remains tells the story of survival and tough decisions as the world of man crumbles and nature retakes the land surrounding him, leaving vacant houses and decrepit city streets with greasy, gun wielding hobos all over the place.
Except for the women. All of the women apparently have shampoo at the ready, at all times, if this trailer is to be taken completely seriously.
