After winning multiple game of the year awards from various organizations, Naughty Dog is now at work on the first single-player DLC release for The Last of Us which is set to launch early 2014. In a new reveal from IGN on Jan 13, fans were given another peek at the upcoming add-on in the form of a new story trailer.

The video shows off more of the game’s two teenage protagonists, giving gamers their second look at the new character of Riley as well as the return of Ellie. The story trailer depicts how the events of Left Behind will begin as Riley wants to show Ellie where she has been for the past month.

The Left Behind DLC will let players discover what happened to Ellie in the events leading up to the main story campaign of The Last of Us. The add-on hasn’t been given a specific release date yet but has been confirmed to launch at some point during the beginning of 2014.

The Last of Us is available now as an Playstation 3 exclusive.
