Sony is giving gamers a little extra incentive to purchase "God of War: Ascension" when it releases next month. A demo for "The Last of Us" will be included with the Playstaiton 3 exclusive.
Details on whether the "The Last of Us" demo will include a piece of the single-player, multiplayer or both has yet to be revealed. Naughty Dog's Arne Meyer explained that the decision on what all will be included is still being ironed out.
However, when gamers slip "God of War: Ascension" into their PS3, they will find a menu option to launch "The Last of Us" demo straight from the disk. Clicking that will reveal how you can get the demo for free. Presumably, this triggers a download from the Playstation Store.
For those that don't pick up "God of War: Ascension", it sounds like a demo for "The Last of Us" will be made available at a later date.
"God of War: Ascension" will be released to the Playstation 3 on March 12. Meanwhile, "The Last of Us" is due out on May 7.
