Several members of Naughty Dog may have provided some hints as to what to expect in regards to the PS4. According to a report by Push Square on Nov. 2, Robert Cogburn and Justin Richmond were both asked about the next video game from the studio during a recent question and answer event on Reddit.
Robert Cogburn stated that he can’t reveal anything currently as it will lessen the excitement of the initial unveiling. However, he hinted that the PS4 gives Naughty Dog a chance at fulfilling several ideas they had in the past, promising that fans will be “in awe” of the project. You can check out several screenshots from “The Last of Us” in the slideshow near the top of this article and his comments below:
If I said anything about what we’re doing right now it wouldn’t be exciting. The PS4 is awesome. It gives us the chance to do a lot of things that we’ve been talking about for some time. You’ll be in awe when you play it.
Justin Richmond also chimed in to respond to a question about the potential sequel to the “Uncharted” series. When asked if the next game could take place on another planet, the game director replied with the following teaser message:
If only Starlight wasn’t so Savage.
Justin Richmond was likely referring to the fictional comic book that appeared in “The Last of Us,” which was released earlier this year for the PS3. Naughty Dog has two separate development teams: one that previously worked on “Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception” and the other that created aforesaid “The Last of Us.” Sony’s PS4 is coming on Nov. 15 in North America.
