It has been confirmed that the much-anticipated title that was initially planned for release on the PS3, “The Last Guardian,” has officially been moved to the PS4 platform. Speaking of the PS4, you can view a few concept photos of this system in the slideshow featured above this article.

According to Gematsu, on Feb. 15 it was revealed that Kenny Linder, a former employee of Bigbig, a Sony UK studio, has confirmed that “The Last Guardian” has been moved from the PS3 to be released for the PS4. Along with this official confirmation, he stated that this title has “been PS4 for a long time now.”

In response to a question on an estimated release date for this title, Linder said that he does not know of a possible release time-frame, but that “The Last Guardian” has been in development for the PS4 for an the extended period. “Its platform has been questionable for nearly two years, but the last time it was restarted (it’s been restarted a number of times), it was moved to Orbis (PS4).”

If this information ends up being true, this will be a clear explanation as to why Sony has kept details surrounding this title silent for so long. For those interested, you can view a few concept photos of the PS4 in the slideshow above this article.
