Not long after the release of “The Last Exorcism,” production announced that it turns out it won’t be the last exorcism after all and planned to release a sequel. The second chapter, cleverly titled “The Last Exorcism Part II,” is now ready to hit theaters and on Tuesday, January 8, released its first trailer via Yahoo! Movies.
“The Last Exorcism Part II” is set to pick up where the first installment left off. Young Nell, portrayed by Ashley Bell, is found in rural Louisiana and she is traumatized by the possession she went through. Nell is now residing with what appears to be a foster family attempting to move on with her life. To Nell’s dismay however, she soon realizes the demon that once took over her is still around and wants her back.

“The Last Exorcism Part II” is scheduled to hit theaters March 1.
