The Langham, Chicago announces that it is officially accepting reservations for July’s Nickel and Dime Anniversary Tea on Friday, July 18, following its inaugural launch and ten minute sell-out in June. This month’s 15-cent tea service is scheduled for Thursday, July 24 in the hotel’s Pavilion Lounge, with seatings available at 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.
Those interested in securing reservations are encouraged to follow The Langham’s social media channels on Friday, July 18. At an undisclosed time, the hotel will announce that it has officially begun accepting reservations. Only 40 seats are available, allowing only four seats per reservation. Upon filling Pavilion’s 40 seats the opportunity to secure reservations will promptly end.
Similar to Langham’s standard Tiffin Tea Service, Nickel and Dime Anniversary Tea service includes proprietary Langham teas and an array of sweet and savory bites created by Pastry Chef Scott Green. For those looking to sip tea in style, Goorin Bros. will also be on-hand with a display of women’s and men's hats for which guests can purchase onsite.
Langham Chicago’s monthly Nickel and Dime Anniversary Tea was launched to commemorate the 149th birthday of the London property. This service is the same price as it was when the English-based hotel opened its doors in 1865—just 1 shilling and 6 pence.
