The LA Comic Book & Sci-Fi Convention is January 15th

2012 is the 35th Anniversary of the Los Angeles Comic Book and Science Fiction Convention. To kick off this celebratory year, on January 15the show will be hosting stars of science fiction with a dealer’s room of the coolest comic books, toys, movie memorabilia and so much more.

“A great selection of comic books, toys, DVD’s and more in the largest dealers room on the West Coast!” 

The show started as a monthly show in 1977 and has held more that 350 shows over the last 35 years. In 2005 the show has been staged 4-8 times a year. Over the years the show has hosted such comic luminaries as the creator of Batman, Bob Kane, Superman co-creator Joe Shuster, Spider-Man co-creator, Stan ”The Man” Lee, and Fantastic Four co-creator Jack “King” Kirby. The list of legends goes on for miles. 

The show is at the Shrine Auditorium Expo Center. Admission is a bargain $8 and children 5 and under are free.
