The Los Angeles Art Show, the largest platform for contemporary and traditional art in the West, returns to the Los Angeles Convention Center January 15 – 19, 2014.

The LA Art Show is unique in the art world as it provides collectors with an expansive breadth of galleries that cross contemporary, historic and print genres. The LA Art Show’s features four sections in the 180,000 square foot exhibit hall: A Modern & Contemporary Section, Historic & Traditional Contemporary Section, Vintage Poster Section and the LA IFPDA Print Fair. Each section is carefully honed to meet the needs of serious collectors and allows galleries the opportunity to connect with like-minded collectors.

“We have deep roots in Los Angeles and have nurtured them for nearly two decades,” states Show Producer Kim Martindale. “This is why we are LA’s art show. Our foundation here is strong and our complete art experience format continues to resonate with Angelenos.”

The 2014 LA Art Show also features an exclusive and impressive collection of galleries selected by the LA Art Show’s Gallery Selection Committee, and an exciting roster of programming including a lecture series, ground-breaking special exhibits by top curators, artist book signings, guided show tours, mixers and evening events.

The art show opens with an Opening Night Premiere Party on Wednesday, January 15 at the Convention Center benefiting the Sister Cities of LA and their program “Bordeaux-Los Angeles A 50 Year Partnership.” The event marks the beginning of a year-long collaboration between the two cities. This reception features an exclusive tasting of world renowned Grand Crus wines from Bordeaux, and California-Latino inspired samplers by Chef John Sedlar of Rivera Restaurant in Downtown Los Angeles.

For 19 years The LA Art Show has delivered a broad spectrum of art from across the globe to Los Angeles' diverse and engaged collector base. Created by KR Martindale Show Management and FADA, it is the longest running venue for contemporary modern, historic and traditional art in the country. The Palm Beach Show Group (PBSG) acquired the LA Art Show in 2012.

The Los Angeles Art Show takes place concurrently with the Los Angeles Jewelry & Antique Show at the Los Angeles Convention Center, South Hall located at 1201 Figueroa Street in Downtown Los Angeles. For additional information, please visit www.laartshow.com.
