The Kopecky Family Band got their start in Nashville in the fall of 2007. Though the members are a close-knit group, they are not actually related. The indie alt-rock band has traveled the nation performing at festivals like Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, South by Southwest, Bonnaroo, and CMJ. The KFP has released three EP's, and finally released their first full-length studio album, Kids Raising Kids, in October of last year. Check out music from the band in the nearby video.
