The Kelly Bell Band to Kick Off Western Maryland Blues Fest Tonight

The Kelly Bell Band will bring their original one of a kind "Phat Blues" to University Plaza in downtown Hagerstown, Maryland for a free concert this evening. The music is scheduled to start at 5 PM and last until 7 PM. The show is part of the Western Maryland Blues Festival which will bring a full weekend of blues music to Hagerstown.

The Kelly Bell Band released their CD Too Far Gone earlier this month. The band has a distinct sound is one of the regions best bands. The band was formed to back the legendary band and released their debut album 16 years ago. The Kelly Bell Band has been honored to be voted the best blues band in the Mid Atlantic for 12 years in a row. The Kelly Bell Band delivers a high energy show, mixing elements of rock, funk, a lot of personality to create their trademark "Phat Blues." You can learn more about The Kelly Bell Band website.

The show is free but ID is required. Gates for the show open at 4 PM with music scheduled to start an hour later. You can make it a wonderful night out by enjoying dinner after the show at one of downtown Hagerstown's conveniently located restaurants.
