On Oct. 29 the American pop rock band the Jonas Brothers announced that as of now they will be disbanding. The announcement came via an article in People in which all three brothers said it was an unanimous decision to put the band on hold. Rumors of the band breaking up began when they cancelled their fall 2013 North American tour earlier this month.
The Jonas Brothers was comprised of brothers Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas, and Nick Jonas. They released a total of four studio albums together with their first being "It's About Time" in 2006. The band's most recent studio album, "Lines, Vines and Trying Times" was released on June 16, 2009 and it reached No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart.
The Jonas Brothers were set to release a new album entitled "V" this year, but now there is no word on if it will even come out. They had already released two singles from "V" which were the songs "Pom Poms" and "First Time".
