'The Jeff Probst Show' discusses senior citizen sex with Lisa Ling

On today's "Jeff Probst Show," his co-host Lisa Ling discussed her upcoming episode of "Our America" on the OWN Network. This episode, called "The Secret Lives of Seniors," was inspired by her aging father.

She discussed how seniors are not just sitting in their rockers or recliners and waiting to die. Many seniors date, travel and embrace adventure and have lots of sex.

She mentioned that her father had a stressful life raising two daughters, and once they were on their own; his lifestyle changed. She and her sister wanted him to check out a retirement community.

Another part of the process that she did not address in the episode on OWN, was the fact that because he is using medical marijuana, which is legal in California. She remembers what a stickler for details he was when his girls were growing up, if they were a minute late coming in at night, they were grounded a day for each minute. Now at seventy-five, he is lethargic and prefers to do his own thing. Although he seems well, she worries that he is forgetful and sometimes leaves the stove on, and she worries about him living alone. The reason for his marijuana medication is for his chronic insomnia, that he has had for many years.

What Lisa found, and what she brings to the viewers on tonight's "Our America" show, is a look into the lives of senior citizens that will surprise and amuse you. Thanks "Jeff Probst Show," for your awesome talk show and the most interesting guests.
