The International Beauty Show is coming to New York City March 9-11th of 2014, and will be held at the Javits Convention Center. The annual show features exhibits from brands like Essie, Redken, Dashing Diva, and many more. Classes and main stage performances by beauty professionals on topics such as makeup, hair, and nail trends and techniques will also take place. The event, which is only open to members of the beauty industry, acts as a hub to network with industry professionals, as well as educate and inspire them.

Main stage keynote speakers include Kelly Cardenas, Ted Gibson, Martin Parsons, Lisa Yamasaki, James Harris, Nick Arrojo, and Sam Villa of Redken. They will be showcasing the latest hairstyles, looks, techniques, and the inspiration behind them.

All types of classes are offered at IBS. Classes on the business side of beauty will educate salon owners and makeup artist on the importance of branding themselves, how to get new clients, and increase profit. Some makeup technique classes and workshops include the art of makeup, v-lash extensions, hues and dimensions, and beauty basics for every complexion. Hair workshops will focus on extensions, textures, highlighting, color treatments, and styles for all types of hair. There are even workshops for barbers. Lets not forget about the art of the nails; gel designs, custom coloring and glitter blending, artistic color gloss art class, and a Q&A with nail industry legends will all be featured.

More than 200 exhibits will pack the convention hall. These exhibits will showcase the latest products from top beauty brands. All attendees can stock up on products and tools offered at exclusive showroom prices.

Over 61,000 professional attended the International Beauty Show last year. Highlights from show were reported by NBC, CBS, and it was named one of New York's Top 100 Events 2013 by BizBash.com. This year is bound to be just as innovative and educational.
