Human beings are loved and forgiven regardless of the sin they commit. There is this strong inclination for people to drift farther away from God and not even realize they are doing it. The unfortunate circumstance in this modern epoch is that there is a lot less faith in God and a lot more intentional sin being done. The concept of intentional sin versus unintentional sin is very simple. Those who sin intentionally, know what they are doing is wrong, but continue to act upon their impulses regardless of anyone else’s feelings.
He, who sins unintentionally, either is ignorant to the fact that he is sinning, or knowingly sins without meaning deliberate harm towards anyone – or God. To unconsciously sin, you are lost with no way out then to commit that sin. Sometimes life presents us with situations with no direct guidelines. There are times in life where people will sin due to the type of indecent situation in which they are engulfed with no means of escape.
As humans, we all sin. We are all born of God’s love and compassion, but something changes once we grow to be at a certain age. This age can vary from person to person. Ignorance is not an excuse for sin, but it is the reason why we repent for the ‘sins seen and unseen’ that we tend to unfailingly commit. This world is experiencing turmoil in almost every country. We are in tempestuous times and should open our eyes to this fact.
Only our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, knows when He will return to us for the final judgment. With that being said, no human knows when the end will be here, but we do not seem too far from it. Imagine if this was your last day or hour on earth, until you are judged for all your sins. Are you content that you repented enough? Have you prayed to God and worshiped enough? Have you conducted your Christian duties to all possible ends?
If you can honestly say that you have and are doing all you can to please God, then you are only fooling yourself. There is no such thing as “enough prayer” or “sufficient amount of worship or repentance”. Wake up and reflect back on your sinful blimp of an existence. If today was your last day, are you proud of what you have done?
This society’s lack of love for God is a true disgrace. People need to stop fearing the perceptions of others and start admitting faith in Jesus Christ. It is not a crime but a mere illumination. Let us love and praise God for all He has done and continues to do for us sinful beings. Thank Him every day and not only for the good things in life, but for the bad as well. For without the bad, we would not know good.
