With Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week days away, designers from near and far are getting their creations ready to present during the shows. Among the list of anticipated presentations is the Concept Korea Spring/Summer 2014 show. The influence of Korean design will be introduced to the global and diverse fashion community in effort to assist Korean fashion designers in their attempts to break into the U.S. fashion market – a project implemented by the Daegu Metropolitan City and the Korea Research Institute of Fashion Industry (KRIFI) to provide direct support to designers.
Celebrating its eighth season this September, Concept Korea runway show, there are four presenting designers which include: Kye Han-hui (‘KYE’), Kim Seo-ryong (‘Kimseoryong homme’), and Kim Hong-beom (‘CRES. E DIM’) for ‘Pre-concept Korea’, and Go Tae-yong (‘beyond closet’), Park Yun-su (‘BIG PARK’), Lee Seok-tae (‘KAAL E.SUKTAE’), and Choi Bok-ho (‘Choiboko’) for ‘Main Concept Korea’. Through their participation in the program, each brand will receive extensive support, including a presence in a multi-branded retail shop, as well as online and offline public relations support by Korean and abroad public relation agencies.
