Incubus is an American rock band from California. Many of their fans are oblivious to the roots of the group's mysterious cognomen. Incubus is a pseudonym for a masculine demon, the female counterpart being referred to as a Succubus.  These creatures render seclusion and lie in constant affliction within themselves. Victims of these mythical beings are said to experience waking dreams or episodes of sleep paralysis. Although, the bands followers would persuade many that they fall privy to these manifestations. It is with assurance that it goes to say these reports may be a fabricated delusion. The only physical effects the guys possess is the ability to generate a moving sound fused with an elaborate indictation of metamorphosis. The band's lead vocalist Brad Bronson, is a prodigious artist who has a majority of his masterpieces on the band's merchandise, websites, and albums.

One in particular that presents the mentioned artwork is "Dig," an intensely illustrated depiction of the groups dilemma with uncovering inner personalities. It is a single from the bands sixth studio-album that debuted at #1 in 2006 entitled, "Light Grenades."  With massive airplay from alternative rock radio stations throughout the United States, it climaxed to the number four spot on the Alternative Rock charts.

These guys are a nominated rock band, that includes lead vocalist Brandon Boyd, lead guitarist Mike Einziger, and drummer Jose PasillasDJ Kilmore and bassist Ben Kenney formerly with the Roots. IN June 2009,  Incubus released their first greatest hits album, "Monuments and Melodies," which is accompanied witha a U.S. tour. The band is highlighted in the Austin Chronicle to be performing at the Austin Music Hall on August 19th at 8pm. Also touring with the band is the Duke Spirit, a alternative punk band from the Uk.  Tickets for this show are being purchased anywhere from $95 for general to $240 for VIP Tower Seats.
