Even with no solid scientific evidence, homeopathy holds a very large following throughout the world. Countless homeopathic remedies can be found in health food stores and an increasing number of homeopathic practitioners can be found. Disregarding the fact that "licensed" homeopaths can fairly easily obtain a license to distribute their diluted remedies, taking homeopathy as a serious science is a joke in the most blatant form. Science is the application of the scientific method to either prove or disprove a theory. Homeopathy has failed the scientific method repeatedly with the results disregarded by those who wish to continue their pseudoscientific practice.
Many books and articles have been published which present solid, definitive studies that conclude homeopathy is nothing but a placebo. Anecdotes are not evidence no matter how much homeopaths would like them to be. Personal stories and private experiences are not evidential.
