2014 Love Run-slide0
start of the Love Run

The inaugural Love Run was held this morning in the rain in Philadelphia. At the start, the temperature was 48 degrees and raining, and it rained for most of the morning. This did not stop the just under 10,000 participants of the half marathon. The course brought runners down towards Independence Mall, up past the Please Touch Museum and up and down the Martin Luther King Drive. The start and finish were in front of the Art Museum at Eakins Oval, and the race started on time and was organized well for its first year.
