The Husson University baseball team pounded out 38 hits and 34 runs in a doubleheader sweep over Becker on Tuesday afternoon.

The Eagles scored seven runs in the first inning and rolled to a 22-5 game one victory at Winter Haven, Florida.

Dylan Foster recorded three hits and three RBI in the game one victory. Kyle Bishop had three hits and scored two runs.

J.T. Whitten had two hits, three runs scored, and two RBI.

Brandon Gendreau and Cody McInnis had two hits each.

Gendreau, McInnis, and Casey Estes had two RBI each.

Josh Gaudette hit a three run homer.

Dennis O'Neil earned the victory on the mound in game one.

O'Neil allowed four runs on six hits and one walk in five innings. He struck out four.

Evan Pelkey pitched the final two innings.

Foster finished with six hits on the day, as he also had three hits in a 12-2 game two victory.

Gaudette recorded three hits, three runs scored, and two RBI.

Meehan had three hits and four RBI, including a home run.

Tim Nason allowed only one run on four hits and one walk in five innings to earn the victory.

The Eagles have scored 48 runs in their last three games.

Husson (3-1) will get the day off in Florida on Wednesday. They will have three more games in the sunshine state before heading back to Maine.
