Recently unveiled have been promotional tid bits for The Hunger Games’ sequel, ‘Catching Fire’. The new promo is titled 'Capitol Portraits' which showcases the characters from Haymitch, Cinna, Johanna, to Katniss, take a look at the dark and unique portraits here!
Novemeber 22nd unleashes the plethora of crazed violence, love, and the inception of a revolution, plus the gorgeous and recent Academy Award winner Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen. That is correct, the sequel to the smash hit on screen and across book sellers, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is surely to be one of the biggest films of 2013.

Jennifer Lawrence returns as the star to the successful Hunger Games series as the heroine Katniss Everdeen. Alongside continuing the efforts are Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark, Liam Hemsworth as Gale Hawthorne, among the many returning, who did not parish, from the first film. Newbies to the film are Sam Claflin (Snow White and the Huntsman) as the sultry Finnick Odair, Jena Malone plays the coveted role as Johanna Mason (Donnie Darko, Sucker Punch), Amanda Plummer (Pulp Fiction), Jeffrey Wright (Casino Royale), and joining the ranks is Philip Seymour Hoffman who will fills the role as Plutarch Heavensbee.
With a screenplay adapted and written by Simon Beaufoy (Slumdog Millionaire) ‘Catching Fire’ will follow the novel written by Suzanne Collin. Francis Lawrence who previously directed Water for Elephants will direct the Quarter Quell frenzy ‘Catching Fire’.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire will again immerse Katniss into the Hunger Games, yet this time as the Quarter Quell, the 75th Hunger Games. Here she will square off against even deadlier foes while Finnick Odair (read up on Finnick here) and Johanna Mason (click her to see her) bring an interesting aspect to the new games!
