'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' movie: New Katniss, Finnick, Peeta portraits (Photos)

Fans of “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” have been given brand new looks this week at the cast of the upcoming “Catching Fire” movie through character portraits, courtesy of Lionsgate Entertainment. Digital Spy revealed this Thursday, March 7, brand new character photos of a stunning Katniss Everdeen in a white dress, Peeta Mellark also decked out in white, Finnick Odair looking dashing as ever, and an ever-brooding Gale Hawthorne.

It was only a few weeks ago that Lionsgate Entertainment announced it would treat fellow “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” fans to exclusive looks at the returning District tributes and characters in Suzanne Collins’ sequel novel from her bestselling YA dystopian trilogy.

The first cast portrait was of a prim-looking Effie Trinket. The smiling host Caesar Flickerman was presented a day later, and most recently this week we were treated to a slew of stunning character portraits, from main protagonists Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark to other tributes like Finnick Odair and Johanna Mason.

Jennifer Lawrence also revealed that she was heading back to Hawaii following the Oscars to finish up some filming for the “Catching Fire” movie in terms of re-shoots for certain scenes. With the hotly anticipated sequel catching flame in U.S. theaters this Nov. 2013, we fans certainly have a lot to look forward to in the coming months.
