Sadly, The Hunger Games proven itself as competition to Marvel's The Avengers last night with five People's Choice Awards, which includes "Favorite Action Movie" and "Favorite Face of Heroism" for Jennifer Lawrence.
However, Robert Downey, Jr. was still the main "Avenger" for "Favorite Movie Actor" and "Favorite Superhero": billionaire industrialist/genius/playboy Tony Stark and Iron Man, a role he has play since the summer of 2008, the beginning of the Avengers Institute, the formation of The Incredible Hulk, Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger to become "Earth's Mightiest Heroes", a team to fight the battles that no one ever could. Downey suits back up this summer for Iron Man 3, which is then followed by Thor: The Dark World later this fall with "Favorite Action Movie Star" Chris Hemsworth back as the Asgard demi-god of thunder.
Though we said "The Long Goodbye" to Nate Ford (Timothy Hutton) and his crew of modern-day Robin Hoods, TNT's Leverage stole the "Favorite Cable TV Drama". Its series finale, which aired two weeks ago, was watched by over three million viewers, its highest ratings since last summer's season premiere.
Nathan Fillion was king of the Castle for "Favorite Dramatic TV Actor" and "Favorite TV Crime Drama", while CW's Beauty and the Beast was the surprise choice for "Favorite New TV Drama", as Supernatural took home "Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Show" and "Favorite TV Fan Following" (SPNFamily).
