It was the perfect Father's Day with sunshine and a high of 82 at Philly International Airport after a low of 58. There was a nice refreshing northerly wind throughout the day making sure it didn't get too hot if you were outdoors having a barbeque.
Overnight there will be just a few highs clouds with lows in the lower 60s; Monday will feature sunshine and then clouds will push in by afternoon as a short wave passes by to the northwest. Highs will be in the middle and upper 80s with a southerly wind and higher humidity as well.
After some clouds overnight Monday into Tuesday morning with lows in the upper 60s we'll have sunshine and continued humidity as we will finally get above the 90 degree mark for the first time this year(our average first 90 degree day is usually around mid-May!). If that's not enough how about a second hot and humid day for Wednesday with sunshine and clouds?
Our next chance for showers and thunderstorms will be with a frontal boundary that will push through Thursday night, but not before we reach the upper 80s; behind the front we are still in the middle 80s on Friday, but with a northerly wind so that means humidity levels will be much lower as well.
