Summertime means large music festivals, and this year the Hudson Valley is getting in on the action.
The inaugural Hudson Project, a three-day event celebrating the best in today’s music and arts, will consist of four stages plus a fifth live performance space, interactive art installations, carnival rides, and a slew of high-end food and drinks. The event will be held at Winston Farm in Saugerties, New York - home of the '94 Woodstock - and is set to leave a special mark on the current U.S. festival landscape.
The event is a camping-optional festival where patrons will have the choice to camp throughout the weekend on-site or take advantage of one of their luxury camping options known as glamping. Glamping consists of luxury tents equipped with everything needed from top to bottom, including a real mattress.
Headliners for The Hudson Project include Kendrick Lamar, Modest Mouse and The Flaming Lips. Other acts set to perform are:
- Big Gigantic
- Matt & Kim
- Capital Cities
- Dr. Dog
- Infected Mushroom
- ZZ Ward
- Flatbush Zombies
- Soul Rebels
- ...and more
Tickets are available now, and include 3-day general admission passes, VIP experience and platinum packages, and glamping options. Payment plans are available only if you act prior to the May 25 deadline.
Organizers of the event say they will provide shuttles, which will be running from nearly every major metropolis in the Northeast, in order to make it easy to get to The Hudson Project.
