The ‘Hope and Change’ of the Affordable Care Act

October 6, 2013

On the East side of Houston, Houston Health Department employees are tasked with first establishing whether or not the resident can speak English well enough to learn the ins and outs of the Affordable Care Act, and hopefully sign them up for it. That’s called ’dire,’ ‘hope and change.'

Information, at least legitimate information on the ACA proves that ‘dire’ scenario in the sense, the Hispanic community will mostly rely on federal funds, which are taxpayers funds and as such, their behavior pattern towards health care will remain the same. They will continue to use county hospital emergency rooms, which makes Houston’s efforts a complete waste of time and revenue.

What about Americans? Is reaching out to them another one of those ‘dire’, ‘hope and change’ scenarios?

Legitimate information on the ACA on behalf of this government shutdown is often times misleading, or in a reality sense, an outright lie. For instance, there will be a ton of un-insured Americans, but for the most part, it will be a choice between house and car payments, fuel costs, cloths and putting food on the table. Some people will just alright dismiss it entirely, opting to pay the fine of $95.00, but now, even that is surrounded in outright lies.

Plus, did you know, included in that number of un-insured Americans are illegal immigrants? They make up a good portions of that figure, but counted as a means to inflate, or create a false tragedy. The White House, the kids they are, are hoping the high numbers will escape those who was not born yesterday and persuade them to feel compassion for the under-privileged and go along with funding this disaster.

To further along ‘hope and change,’ this information is often distorted without challenge. The White House, unconstitutionally, mind you, has saw fit to wave their big campaign donors(business), mandate for a year, but refuses to wave the individual mandate(small campaign donors) for the same period, and as such, the government is shutdown.

The reality of this shutdown is, the White House, Democrats and mainstream media is saying, ‘to hell with the individual.’ The House of Representatives is saying, ‘to hell with the White House, Democrats, mainstream media and ‘BIG BUSINESS.’

Simple right? But now, who’s on your side?
