Solar panels help your home become more energy efficient and a tax credit on your panels of up to 30% makes the panels pay for them self over time.

Other federal tax credits make it even easier to make your home more energy efficient and self sustaining.  Look for Energy Star approved appliances, home accessories, etc.,  fixing drafts and leaks, installing a metal roof, using plants and trees to your advantage and many other ways can help you and your home on the way to becoming more earth-conscious and sustainable.
