The Hollywood Show is coming up

The Hollywood Show, which puts together an amazing crop of 1960s and 1970s TV stars, character actors and Oscar winners, is coming this April. While the venue has changed locations a number of times, from Studio City, Burbank to the LAX area, the principle remains: allowing film buffs to not only meet their favorite actors up close and personal, but to be able to mingle, take pictures and purchase autographed photos (price varies for autographs) for a small $20 entrance fee.

Owned and started by entertainment industry veteran David Elkouby in 1979, the Hollywood Show, perhaps the best known autograph show in Los Angeles, is held four times a year. This April’s show features, among others, Oscar winners Martin Landau (Mission Impossible, North by Northwest, Ed Wood) and Cloris Leachman (The Last Picture Show, Young Frankenstein), 70s star Elliott Gould (Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice, Mash, Ocean’s Eleven), character actors such as Rene Auberjonois (Mash, The Hindenburg, Eyes of Laura Mars), Sally Kellerman (Mash, Brewster McCloud), Clu Gulager (The Killers, The Last Picture Show, The Virginian) and Peter Mark Richman (The Black Orchid, The Naked Gun 2½: The Smell of Fear, Dynasty), Hart to Hart’s Stefanie Powers and many others.

Always trying to reunite the cast of classic shows and films (Gould, Kellerman and Auberjonois co-starred in Mash for instance), this mandatory stopover for anyone having grown up watching 60s, 70s or 80s TV, is also a wonderful platform for memorabilia fans, with old scripts and posters available for sale.

The next Hollywood Show will be held April 11th - 13th, 2014
