John Prince Kee is a pastor and gospel recording artist (born June 4, 1962; Durham, North Carolina) whose moniker is "The Prince of Gospel Music," hence his middle name. He is the 15th of 16th children of his family of origin. He is the recipient of seven Grammy Award nominations.
John P. Kee's Accomplishments
Kee has penned gospel hits for numerous artists and aggregations including: Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Dorinda Clark-Cole, The Mississippi Mass Choir, The Florida Mass Choir, Stephanie Mills, and The Hawkins Family. In 1982, he made history as the he became the first person to write more than one song for James Cleveland's Gospel Music Workshop of America.
