One of the most recognizable and historic hotels in Atlantic City is open for business once again. The Claridge had been absorbed into Bally’s after it closed some years ago, but was recently sold to TJM Atlantic City L.L.C. This once beautiful and elegant Atlantic City hotel is now accepting reservations.

The Claridge’s 500 rooms will offer “a new standard in customer service while enjoying the world famous Atlantic City Boardwalk, beach, restaurants, entertainment attractions and activities.

There will be various room types available featuring oceanfront views and connector suites with Jacuzzis. Guests will enjoy free Wifi, parking, swimming pool/spa privileges and complimentary coffee service each morning in the new renovated hotel lobby.”

The 24-story Claridge was built by famous Philadelphia builder John McShain and opened in 1930 during the Great Depression. Known as the “Skyscraper By the Sea,” it was Atlantic City’s first hotel to have hot and cold running water, both fresh and salt. Salt water was thought to be good for health during the Claridge’s early days.

And now you can experience all the elegance and history that the Claridge holds. Rooms will be available beginning May 23 but you can book yours now by calling 844-AC-IS-FUN (844-244-7386). You can also book online by clicking HERE.

The Claridge is located at Park Place and the Boardwalk.
